PERSONALITY
Caring. Up until Ethan's passing, she was super outgoing, but Liz tends to spend her evenings at home, in the quiet of her house. Has a tendency to dwell in the past, to rehash wrongs. Once she lets you in, she's an affectionate girl. She cries easily, but that's nothing new.

PERSONAL HISTORY
Elizabeth was born on a rainy May day in Chicago. Things were good- her parents were happy, she was healthy- things were going on as they "should" have. She spent summers in Brunswick with her paternal grandparents - Linnea and James. Life was pretty wonderful... until they found out her mother had cancer.
When Liz was 11, her mother passed away. She fought long and hard, but the cancer ravaged her body- starting in her breasts, then spreading quickly to lymph nodes. Thankfully for Catherine, it went quickly. Too bad the same couldn't be said for James and Liz. The next two years were rough- with James not only mourning his wife, but really having no idea how to raise a young girl. Luckily for him, his parents were more than willing to help- and that's how Liz ended up in Brunswick. Living with her grandparents. Working at the coffee shop.
High school was rough, but isn't it for everyone. Her grandparents weren't always easy to live with, and it was hard for all of them. Hard for the Fitzgeralds to have to re-raise a child and hard for Liz to have to live with her strict grandparents. But once they settled into a rhythm, they were okay.
After high school was done, there was the option of going back to Chicago. Her father had gotten remarried and she now had a younger sister named Rose. But she wanted to stay in Georgia. She was happy there. So she stayed on at the coffee shop and took some classes online. She got her associates and moved to Atlanta to pursue her bachelors in Education, working with children with special needs. She met Ethan Brink and fell in love.
Ethan was a med student, busy, driven, focused. But at the same time, he was a sensitive man. Delicate, some would say. He took things seriously, and always took things to heart- no matter how many times he reminded himself that the worlds problems were not his own.
She knew that school was hard, that the work was demanding... so when Elizabeth got pregnant, she thought she only had one choice. She went to the clinic, got all the information... and couldn't go through with it. After the stress of Ethan's death, dealing with the aftermath of his suicide, she lost the baby.
